A highway in Waikato has been closed for several hours after a three-way truck crash.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand said it was called to State Highway 39 near Ngahinapouri at about 9.45am on Thursday.
It said two trucks and a bus collided on the motorway.
Hato Hone St John said 24 people were involved in the crash but only two were injured.
One person in a serious condition was taken to Waikato Hospital and another was treated at the scene.
Waka Kotahi has closed the highway between Ngahinapouri Road and Tuhikaramea Road.
