How will Maori contribute to three waters reforms?

The government's reforms will create four publicly-owned water service entities to ensure every New Zealander has access to affordable, long-lasting drinking, waste and stormwater infrastructure. Maria Nepia is the new Executive Director of Three Waters Iwi/Maori at the Department of Internal Affairs. She brings extensive experience from her time at the Ngati Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board and says iwi and hapu will have seats on the new entities to be created.
