The Modern Māori Quartet join Alex Behan for a kōrero and a performance to celebrate Matariki and their upcoming album.
In August, the quartet will be in two places at once.
The New Zealand Drama School (Toi Whaakari) graduates have developed a rotating cast in order to allow members of the band to partake in other acting work.
Demand is so high that they've had to develop two versions of the quartet so they can tour Australia and be part of the Edinburgh Festival at the same time.
2017 is a big year – along with international tours the group has an album due out in September.
Their new songs radiate positivity with themes like being thankful for food and honouring the women in the world who they regard as the pillars of society.
