Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2014
Māori Language Week - 21-27 July 2014
In celebration of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori Te Awanui 'Awa' Reeder joins Emma Smith in studio for a kōrero and presents some of his contemporary Māori music essentials; and Hymns on Sunday features the songs 'E Te Matua', 'E Te Ariki', 'E Te Toka Ingoa Nui' and 'E Te Kahui Iti Nei'.
Introducing Te Kupu o te Wiki: Word of the Week: From July 21 2014, in partnership with Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Maori, Radio New Zealand will introduce 50 new Māori words over 50 weeks.
