Jamie MacDowell and Tom Thum are two young Australian performers who've managed to shape what they love doing into a living.
Jamie’s skills as a heartfelt singer-songwriter and guitarist are perfectly complemented by Tom’s incredible world-class beatboxing skills.
Tom is described as having an entire orchestra in his mouth. His beatboxing and passion for vocal sound effects has seen the performance he filmed and recorded for Ted X in 2013 receive a staggering 67 million hits.
The on-stage chemistry that exists between these two musicians is underlined by their irresistible charm and wit.
It’s a point of difference that that they have already toured around the world playing sold-out dates at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, UK venues, Berlin Basements, the Cape of Good Hope and Hong Kong. They really get around!
There is little doubt watching two incredibly talented people having so much fun on stage was a memorable event for the enthusiastic crowd who attended their show on the Dell stage.
