A tribute from Auckland composer Anthony Young to David Bowie. The title is taken from Bowie's song Moonage Daydream. Performed by Stephen De Pledge.
Anthony Young writes: “I’ve admired David Bowie’s music-making for many years, although I found some of his songs challenging at first. Shortly before he died, I rediscovered his [song] Moonage Daydream and I’ve taken the title for [my] piece from a line of its lyrics. This song speaks to me and interests me in so many ways – the way great music of any genre can.”
