The NZCT Chamber Music Contest is the longest running youth music competition in New Zealand and is the only nationwide chamber music competition for young secondary school musicians and composers.
Many of its past participants have gone on to have successful musical careers both in NZ and abroad, including leader of the adjudicators Wilma Smith.
From more than 400 ensembles nationwide, only 12 made it through to the semi-finals.
Here we listen to the six final groups representing regions across New Zealand.
