The Royal New Zealand Air Force Band takes to the road in late February. The band’s going on tour for the first time since 2021, with concerts taking place in Whanganui, Taupō, Hamilton and Tauranga.
Band member Corporal Hannah Darroch is hosting the concerts which include performances in schools. She tells with Bryan Crump how rewarding the experience is for both performers and audience.
"I think that's what it's all about... that we can go in and introduce some of these instruments up close to children, and smaller places that probably don't have the chance to see them."
