Young soprano Sarah Mileham was the winner of the 2024 Nicholas Tarling Aria Competition earlier this year.
Along with a cash prize, the first and second place-getters are given the opportunity to perform with the Manukau Symphony Orchestra.
Currently touring for NZ Opera's Opera in Schools programme, where she's playing the role of Adina in Donizetti’s Elixir of Love, Sarah took time out to chat with Three to Seven's Bryan Crump about singing opera and her upcoming performance with Manukau Symphony Orchestra.
Manukau Symphony Orchestra's Family Concert is on Sunday 16 June, 5pm, at Due Drop Events Centre, Auckland.
