The Piano is a world-class centre for music and the arts which opened recently in Christchurch. Maja Burry talks to Director Bronwyn Bijl, Architect Alec Bruce and Sound Consultant John Farren about what went into creating this world class venue. Meanwhile sound engineer Andrew Collins captured the unique sound of the acoustic with performances from the Rangi Ruru Girls School Jazz combo, Percussion Ensemble and Sinfonia.
