Actor, designer, director: Andrew Foster is a freelance theatre worker which means he never limits himself to one discipline. He has recently played a lead character in Anthony McCarten’s play Weed at Circa in Wellington. And now he directs Caging Skies, a new play by Desiree Gezentsvey set during the second world war. He's also designing a dance work with his wife Sarah Foster Sproull. He talks about the artistic drive that motivates his life.
