A young woman has to choose between a life of material luxury or true love. That’s the basis of Puccini’s Manon Lescaut, Auckland Philharmonia’s 2017 opera in concert. New Zealand opera singers Bianca Andrew and James Ioelu will join a lineup of international names, and the New Zealand Opera Chorus for the one-off performance this Friday.
