Pianist Mercy Jones likes connecting with people.
The Year 13 student and Deputy Head Girl at New Plymouth Girls' High School has come up with a great way to combine her preparation for concert performances with bringing enjoyment to residents of rest homes around New Plymouth.
And she’s encouraging other young people to do the same – connecting with people of the older generation through sharing their musical gifts.
The scheme is called Connect2Grow.
