Tenor Frederick Jones is currently making his principal debut with Glyndebourne Opera in the UK, performing the role of Tom Rakewell, one of the main characters in Igor Stravinsky’s opera The Rake’s Progress.

“Frederick Jones seemed born to sing Rakewell," writes Bachtrack reviewer Roy Westbrook, "so far did his fine singing and acting make it difficult to recall a more persuasive interpretation.”
Clarissa Dunn caught up with Frederick Jones on the phone in London.
