224 students from Tupou College in Tonga have been committed to stand trial in the Supreme court on wilful damage charges.
It follows a preliminary hearing which was delayed on several occasions, including to allow the students to sit their end of year exams.
The group allegedly destroyed around a quarter of a million US dollars worth of equipment at Tonga College in August last year.
The students are said to have broken windows, destroyed computers, musical instruments and a truck during an early morning raid on the rival college.
No date has yet been set for the Supreme Court appearance.
