A former Fiji senior public servant, Isikeli Mataitoga, has been sworn in as a High Court judge.
According to the Fiji Times, this has been confirmed by the deputy registrar, Emosi Koroi.
Mr Mataitoga was the chief executive officer of the ministry of foreign affairs before last December military's coup.
He had been Fiji's permanent representative to the European Union, the World Trade Organisation, UN Food Agricultural Organisation, UN Educational Social and Cultural Organisation and World Customs Organisation.
