Retired Fiji Supreme Court Judge, Sir Moti Tikaram has been awarded the prestigious "Sardar Vallabhai Patel Award" in New Delhi, India.
The award held annually recognises people of Indian Origins around the glove who have made huge contributions to the development of their respective fields.
Sir Moti Tikaram's award was received by Fiji's High Commissioner to India, Savenaca Kaunisela.
Mr Kaunisela says that Sir Moti is a living example of the many hard working People of Indian Origin in Fiji .
Sir Moti Tikaram was also a former Ombudsman and retired President of the Fiji Court of Appeal.
