Samoa's Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi has lost his wavy hair to raise funds for the Samoa Cancer Society.
The prime minister agreed to have his hair shaven, which by mid-afternoon raised a further 32,000 US dollars.
The event, which has in part been streamed online, has so far managed to collect about 75,000 US dollars.
