The international football federation, FIFA, has allocated $US300,000 dollars in emergency relief in the wake of Cyclone Pam.
The president of Oceania Football Confederation, David Chung, says the first priority is helping the staff of the Vanuatu Football Federation rebuild their homes.
He says they have been speaking to aid agencies about this but there is a second purpose in his visit.
"The second purpose is to visit the facilities and assess the damage, how extensive the damage is, make a recommendation for FIFA to grant aid for the reconstruction of the facilities."
David Chung who says that report will go to the FIFA meeting next month in Switzerland.
Mr Chung says a priority will be the reconstruction of the office of Vanuatu Football Federation while there will also be focus on a new stadium with artificial grass.
