The American Samoa Government is asking for proposals for a major 250-room hotel development in the territory.
The initiative would see a three-and-a-half star hotel developed on the site of the old Rainmaker Hotel, which was demolished earlier this year after sitting deserted for more than a decade.
The Government is seeking proposals for the design, building, financing as well as operations and maintenance of the new hotel.
It wants it to be run by a major recognised hotel brand, and have the option to include space for a casino.
