Fiji Airways is citing further problems at Nausori airport near Suva for flight changes to and from New Zealand tomorrow.
Tomorrow's flight to Auckland from Nausori is being rescheduled for departure from Nadi, with a bus to take passengers by road, leaving at 4am from Nausori.
The flight from Nadi will depart at 10am. Fiji is currently one hour behind New Zealand.
Inbound passengers from Auckland will now land at Nadi and be transported by road to Suva.
The drive from Nadi to Suva along the Queens Road usually takes at least three hours.
Airports Fiji Limited says the surface at the runway is currently not suitable for Boeing 737 planes.
Yesterday AFL said a sealant applied over the weekend did not dry in the expected time frame, causing the runway to be closed.
