A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji as the country is in the grips of a tropical disturbance.
The weather system has been to the north of Viti Levu.
According to the Fiji Met Service the low is gradually deepening and expected to become a tropical depression later today before moving southeast towards the Fiji Group from later tomorrow.
At this stage, it has a moderate chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over Fiji waters.
People in Fiji have to expect periods of rain, heavy at times and squally thunderstorms over most places.
There is also the risk of flooding.
