A two-week rehabilitation mission has arrived in Fiji's north to help the area recover from landslides and flooding associated with last month's Tropical Depression.

The multi-agency team consisting of government, Water Authority and military staff aims to restore essential services to areas on Qamea island where dozens of people still remain displaced.
The Minister of Rural Development and National Disaster Management, Inia Seruiratu, has met with local farmers and heard their needs.
"It's just seedling and planting material. They are also requesting riverbank protection to minimise the loss of soil because of flooding and of course the roads as well, so we are looking into those requests for them," he said.
Tropical Depression 04F has caused millions of dollars worth of damage to the country which is still recovering from Cyclone Winston which hit in February last year.
