Two more people in French Polynesia have tested positive for Covid-19, raising the total to 53.
The two positive tests came after four days without any additional cases.
The tally also showed the number of carriers in hospital remained at one.
All cases were concentrated on Tahiti and Moorea.
Meanwhile a first relief flight with mainly medical supplies has arrived from France as part of its commitment to maintain a skeleton service between Paris and Tahiti.
The Air Tahiti Nui plane brought 25 tons of material for the main hospital and pharmacies.
It also carried parts for the domestic airline Air Tahiti and the French military to enable them to uphold medical evacuation flights from the outer islands.
The next return flight is planned for next week.
These special flights are not open for stranded French Polynesian residents wanting to leave France.
