The son of the Fijian Prime Minister has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges he faces in Australia over domestic violence-related allegations.

Thirty-six-year-old Meli Bainimarama is charged with 17 offences, including five charges of assault resulting in bodily harm, stalking, common assault, and destroying or damaging property.
The offences allegedly took place between February and May of this year in Sydney.
Fiji Village reports Parramatta Court officials confirmed the case was called on Tuesday and a plea was taken.
The bail undertaking for Meli Bainimarama continues.
The matter will be recalled for hearing on June 23 next year.
Fijian Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama has said he is "deeply concerned" after his son was charged.
In a statement, he said the charges brought against Meli Bainimarama were disturbing to him and his wife and sought to distance the matter from his government.
