The largest Polynesian festival in the world gets underway in South Auckland today.
Its the 43rd time the annual ASB Polyfest has been held, and close to 100-thousand spectators are expected over four days.
Students will be competing on five main stages to perform traditional items from the Cook Islands, Maori, Niuean, Samoan and Tongan cultures, and there's also a diversity stage.
This year's host schools are Te Aroha College and James Cook High school.
But as Sara Vui-Talitu reports, with increased growth there are challenges.
