Villagers on Fiji's Malolo Island are upset that foreign developers of a tourist resort are building on their island without the required environmental approvals.
The locals are outraged that raw sewage from the construction camp is entering their fishing grounds and causing other environmental damage.
The headman of Solevu Village on Malolo, Orisi Vuninavanua, told Christine Rovoi about 100 workers are on site and work goes on at night after attempts to halt the development.
