Civic space eroding in the Pacific - report

A new report from global civil society alliance Civicus says some Pacific governments are trying to restrict the media and silence opposition voices.

The report on civil rights in 14 Pacific countries rates eight as open and three as narrowed.

Civicus researcher Josef Benedict told Ben Robinson Drawbridge that Fiji, Nauru and Papua New Guinea remain in the obstructed category.
