With commercial flights to Pacific countries grounded by the pandemic, the Pacific Humanitarian Air Service has stepped in to deliver medical supplies to the region.
Coordinated by the World Food Programme, the service is supported by other UN agency's, NGO's, donor government's and regional bodies.
Seven Pacific flights have now taken place, including one on Monday to Fiji, Kiribati and Nauru.
After that flight Ben Robinson Drawbridge spoke to the World Food Programme's Pacific director Jo Pilgrim.
