Pacific Islands Climate Action Network has labelled Fiji the Prime Minister's recent comments on fossil fuel in Australia, 'Harmful and destructive'.
When asked whether Pacific leaders will use next month's Pacific Islands Forum leader's meeting in Rarotonga to put pressure on Australia to shut down its fossil fuel industry, Sitiveni Rabuka said, the Pacific is 'realistic' about its demands.
He also said Australia's fossil fuel industries cannot be shut down immediately.
