The president of the Federated States of Micronesia says his country could be staring down a 'fiscal cliff' if the US Congress does not approve its compact of free association urgently.
The Federated states of Micronesia started its new administration in May, led by President Wesley Simina.
At the tail end of the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders' Summit in Rarotonga he sat down with RNZ Pacific's Lydia Lewis who started off by asking about domestic issues.
