New Zealand's former minister for Pacific Peoples has weighed in on the future of Pasifika in Aotearoa following the release of the latest census data and pre-budget announcement.
The latest 2023 Census data by Stats N-Z shows a fast growing youthful Pacific population that makes up 9 percent of New Zealand with a median age of 25.
It comes just as people prepare to find out how the coalition government has sliced the pie.
