More than 11,000 singers from over 30 countries are in Auckland for the 13th World Choir Games, the largest choral competition.
Launched last week, the 10-day event is also dubbed the "Olympics of singing."
Among them is Fijian choir, Primanavia who took out the Folklore and Indigenous Music with Choreography category.
The choir's director, Sunia Loga says the win was surreal and a testament to their rigorous preparation.
RNZ Pacific's Grace Fiavaai has the story.
