An Auckland-based Samoan Siva academy is reviving traditional performing arts through dancing and singing.
Le Masiofo Siva Academy is now in its fourth season, preserving and nurturing Samoan culture among the younger Diaspora.
Director Steva Auina says there are other dance academies out there, but some are strictly female or male-only.
The academy is open to all, including non-Samoans with tailored classes for different age groups.
They have over 150 students.
