About 80-thousand people remain cut off in Porgera, Papua New Guinea, with the main road blocked by a massive landslide.
It's the same chunk of earth which buried Yambali Village alive in the early hours of May 28.
Community leader, Miok Michael told RNZ Pacific's Lydia Lewis contractors are desperately trying to build a bypass road to Porgera to deliver aid and most importantly food to avoid mass starvation.
He says it's looking like it will take four to six months to complete.
