The Papua New Guinea parliament is set to resume on Tuesday next week and again for the opposition it is a chance to try and unseat the James Marape administration.

Efforts to bring a vote of no confidence have dominated PNG politics this year and, as far as the opposition is concerned, will continue next week.

In the previous two sessions the opposition has been easily outmanoeuvred by the government side, and each time appeared to not have the numbers anyway.

This week Mr Marape says he again has no concerns about the likely vote.

RNZ Pacific senior journalist Don Wiseman asked RNZ Pacific's PNG correspondent, Scott Waide, how the opposition campaign is shaping up.
