Children in Vanuatu will soon be able to see themselves in new books written by local writers.
Save the Children launched its Library for All project which is designed to provide children across Vanuatu with culturally relevant books.
Writing workshops will be held accross the country where at least 100 new books will be written.
The organisation's country director Polly Banks told RNZ Pacific's Caleb Fotheringham 8000 books are going to be sent to remote schools.
