Tonga infrastructure, tourism minister to be sentenced

From Pacific Waves

Tonga's minister for infrastructure and tourism 'Akosita Lavulavu is to be sentenced for fraud on Friday.

Mrs Lavulavu and her husband 'Etuate were both convicted earlier this month of falsifying student documents in order to get $US250,000 in government grant funding for a school they ran privately.

Our correspondent in Tonga, Kalafi Moala, joined me to talk more about the case.
