Gesundheit! Spare a thought for those extra loud sneezers.
Jesse Mulligan producer Ali Ventura is a sneezer. She says she can’t control it, it’s loud, and her colleagues are starting to make less than comradely comments about her high-decibel sternutations.
Ali says her troublesome nose runs in the family.

And her tale of woe struck a chord with many listeners:
“Babies cry, dogs bark and birds take flight when I sneeze’ said one.
Another says he got a text from a friend half a kilometre away saying ‘bless you’.
One woman says her brother crashed his car doing a sneeze.
“If I try to hold it in I hurt my back and wet my pants”, said another.
And a sobering thought; one listener ruptured a disc trying to hold in a sneeze and spent years in chronic pain.
Her advice: “Take it from me Ali, sneeze freely please.”
