The finals of the annual secondary schools' song and dance competition Stand Up, Stand Out take place in Manukau on September 1.
More than 1000 Auckland secondary school students took part in the highly competitive heats and semi-final rounds this year.
Silika Isaia, 17, who is in year 12 at Papatoetoe High School, is one of the finalists and she joined Jesse Mulligan in the Auckland studio with her brother Russell to perform her original track 'Mad Men'. A heartfelt song dedicated to a five-year old refugee who died.
