The Minister of Health says at this stage he's confident a new case involving a worker at a managed isolation facility is an isolated case.
The man, a maintenance worker at the Rydges Hotel managed isolation facility, tested positive for the virus on August 16.
Despite having no contact with guests, genome testing shows his Covid strain is the same as a person who returned from the United States and subsequently tested positive for the virus, while staying at the same hotel.
At this stage there is no obvious person-to-person connection between the two people, but investigations are continuing.
