Retail and hospitality keenly awaiting an alert level decision

A Government announcement is due later this afternoon on whether restrictions will ease in Auckland and parts of Waikato.

Retail businesses have asked the Government to move Auckland into step 2 of the Auckland roadmap this week. 

But it's not until step 3 of the roadmap that hospitality venues can reopen. 

Krishna Botica is the director of Comensa the umbrella company for a number of popular Auckland eateries, and the President of the Auckland Branch of the Restaurant Association. She talks to Jesse about what she's hoping for.
