A last-ditch effort to save Hamilton's 60-year-old Founder's Theatre from demolition has failed.
The brutalist-style theatre was shut down in 2016 because of health and safety fears and since then its fate has hung in the balance.
Founders supporters, led by the Theatre of the Impossible Trust, had been hoping to save it from the wrecking ball but Councillors argue it'll be too costly to save and have voted to turn it into a park instead.
