Scion a research company that specialises in developing science and technology for forestry, was honoured at the Science New Zealand Awards earlier this week.
Among the award winners was principal researcher Dr Mike Watt, who received an individual Lifetime Achievement award for his leadership in forest science. Earlier this year he also presented at the ForestSATconference in Berlin.
