It's Caregiver Awareness Week and to talk about the important work these families do we're joined by a caregiver of nine and father, in Invercargill to talk about the journey of his whānau.
He was already father of six when he decided to take three more into his care.
We are not naming him to protect the children, but he's talks to Susie about why he and his partner enjoy their roles as caregivers so much.
