Samoan heritage artists
Galumalemana Steven Percival and the Samoan heritage artists who are coming to New Zealand for the Samoa-New Zealand artistic exchange to celebrating Samoan Independence.
Steven has been visiting Upolu and Savai'i identifying artists suitable for this cultural exchange programme, encountering all sorts of issues including arranging birth certificates and passports for people who've never left their islands and are surprised to see the formal names that appear on their birth certificates - which have no relation to their day to day names and they've never heard them before! Very tricky but all worth it.
