Dunedin City Council vows to oppose racism

Dunedin City Council has vowed to oppose racism in the city in a show of solidarity to the Muslim community after the attacks. The accused gunman lived in the city and had identified the Dunedin mosque as his initial target before turning his attention to the two sites in Christchurch. Dunedin councillors met during an extraordinary meeting this afternoon.
