Parents concerned about Christchurch school's food policy

From Checkpoint, 6:26 pm on 6 September 2019

Some parents of a Christchurch primary school are raising concerns about the school's strict food policy.

This comes after a complaint was laid against Waitakiri Primary School after a teacher allegedly stopped a child for eating a muffin they brought in for snack time.

The parent who complained met with the principal today, who told RNZ the teacher involved has taken today off because of all the attention the issue is attracting.
