The Prime Minister says the Christchurch Call has kicked into action after footage from the shooting attacks was livestreamed on Amazon's video gaming platform Twitch.
The Christchurch Call is a partnership between governments and tech companies designed to eradicate extremism and terrorism online in the wake of the Christchurch mosque attacks.
Jacinda Ardern says because Amazon had signed up to the Call, the footage was promptly pulled down.
