Extent of SkyCity fire destruction revealed

Firefighters have revealed new details of how they managed to bring the blaze at Auckland's SkyCity International Convention Centre under control. Four days after the fire broke out, crews have decribed tackling the inferno in pitch black darkness as flaming debris dropped from the roof above. Firefighters are continuing to douse hotspots inside, but the smoke has largely cleared from the area and life is starting to return to normal in the central city.
